Palo Santo is a natural wood that has been used for centuries to purify, cleanse and get rid of evil spirits, misfortune or negativity. 

Use palo santo for rituals, meditation, energetic work or simply to cleanse your space. The sacred smoke from these palo santo sticks clears the air around you and your own energetic field from negative emotions, thoughts or stagnant energy. It can also be used to cleanse crystals.

How to use palo santo:

• Use a candle, match or lighter to light the palo santo stic. It may take a while to get going.
  
• Allow about 10-20 seconds to light and then waft out the flame
  
• Open windows to allow the removal of old energy
• Walk around your space with the palo santo allowing the smoke to flow over the entire area.
• Move the smoke up and down your body to cleanse your aura and energetic field.
  
• Once lit, it can quickly go out, so you may need to light it a few times to get it going again
• Once finished snuff out your alo santo in dry rice, a fireproof dish or sand - do not use water as this may wekean the wood

Always use a fireproof bowl to place palo santo. Be careful of embers that may fall off twhen you are smudging. Never leave a burning palo santo unattended. Be careful not to burn yourself on
